District of Columbia, Maryland, Virginia
WHAT’S HOT is a digital, bi monthly publication that promotes the patronage and active involvement in the arts and entertainment in the metropolitan area for audiences 40 years of age and over.
“Your Girl Cheryl” (YGC) was an on air personality on WEAA FM reporting on exciting happenings around town for over twelve years inviting a 40+ audience to enjoy the fabulous live entertainment available in the metropolitan area. A self-proclaimed enemy of the “big screen TV,” (and the tendency for many to spend so much time in front of it), YGC encourages audiences a vibrancy of spirit amongst older adults achieved by being mentally active and physically involved. YGC says “get up and get yourself around town.”
